UNIDAD 3: IT´S TOO NOISY!

Esta unidad trata sobre la música y los instrumentos musicales.
Vocabulario nuevo:drum, guitar, piano, shaker, triangle, trumpet, shake, bang, play, sing, music box, musical instruments.
El cuento se titula: It´s too noisy!, y trata de hacer entender a los niños lo molesto de un ruido excesivo :P

La estructuras comunicativas nuevas para esta unidad: It’s to noisy!, I can play the (guitar), Can you play the guitar? Yes / No

UNIDAD 4: BEEP BEEP! CHOO CHOO!

En este tema veremos los juguetes y ¡la importancia de cuidar de ellos!
Vocabulario nuevo: ball, car, doll, teddy, train, yo-yo, (big/ small)
El cuento se titula : Beep, beep! Choo, choo!
También en esta unidad introduciremos el abecedario y los meses del año.

Algunas estructuras comunicativas nuevas: It’s too big., Is it too small?, wheel, toy, I’ve got a (train), I’m ready., Let’s go. I like the (car),I don´t like the (car). Which one do you like the most?

PLUS UNIT : MY NEW SHELL

Esta unidad extra trata sobre el mar y los que viven en ella.
Vocabulario nuevo: crab, fish, octopus, plants, shell, turtle, beach, aquarium, old, new.
El cuento se titula: My New Shell.
Aprendemos a deletrear.

Algunas estructuras comunicativas nuevas: I’m a crab., push, pull, swimming, A place to hide, Down in the sea, There’s an octopus., There are plants...

UNIDAD 3: LETS PLAY!

Esta unidad gira entorno a las acciones y a los juegos en el patio.
Vocabulario nuevo: jump, run, play, slide, clap, climb, playground.
El cuento se titula Let´s Play!, donde se conciencia a los alumnos de los peligros de "hacer el loco" cuando jugamos.

Algunas estructuras comunicativas nuevas que aprenderemos:Let’s (play), up, down, round and round, I can help!, That’s better!, I can (jump).

UNIDAD 4: LETS DRESS UP!

Esta unidad trata sobre la vestimenta y los disfraces.
Vocabulario nuevo: hat, trousers, socks, T-shirt, shoes, dress, pirate, princess, cowboy, cocodrile.
El cuento de esta unidad se titula Let´s dress up!, en la que se hace hincapié a la importancia del compañerismo.

Algunas estructuras comunicativas nuevas:I’m a (pirate), Look at me!, Snap!, snap!, snap!, Toot!, toot!, toot!, Stop!, stop!, stop!. Put on (a hat)! I´m wearing... What are you wearing?

PLUS UNIT: HEY, BABY DINO!

Esta unidad gira entorno a una familia de dinosaurios.
Vocabulario nuevo: baby, sister, brother, mummy, daddy, family, dinosaur, egg. Duck, ducking.
El cuento se titula Hey, Baby Dino!.

Algunas estructuras comunicativas nuevas:bigger dinosaur, I’m your (sister),I love my family, is?... Big, bigger?, fly, swim.

En esta unidad trabajaremos los alimentos que están asociados a una fiesta, concretamente al de un cumpleaños.

Vemos con los niños el cuento The Blue Balloon
El nuevo vocabulario : grapes, juice, ice cream, cake, balloon.

UNIDAD 4: THE RED CAR
En esta unidad trabajamos los juguetes: car, teddy, scooter, book.
El cuento para esta unidad se titula : Rocket´s car
PLUS UNIT: HAPPY LITTLE FISH
El tema de esta unidad es sobre los peces y las ranas.
El cuento se titula Happy Little Fish, y el vocabulario: Fish, frog, swim, jump, tail, legs, egg, tadpole


Repaso: Rocket, Star, Monkey, Hello, bye bye. Los números 1-5, red, blue, yellow, green. Para este trimestre añadimos orange y purple.

¿Por qué se celebra Halloween?

Halloween es una fiesta que se celebra en gran parte del mundo occidental, sobre todo en los paises anglosajones, la noche del 31 de Octubre, víspera del día de todos los santos (1 de Noviembre).

Aunque la fiesta tiene un origen Celta, al ser importada a Estados Unidos por unos irlandeses y al haber hecho tanto marketing desde norteamérica, la mayoria de la gente la considera una fiesta estadounidense.

La historia del Halloween se remonta a hace más de 2.500 años, cuando el año celta terminaba al final del verano, el día 31 de octubre de nuestro calendario. El ganado era rejuntado de los prados en los establos. Ese último día, se suponía que los espíritus podían salir de los cementerios y apoderarse de los cuerpos de los vivos para resucitar. Para evitarlo, los poblados celtas ensuciaban las casas y las “decoraban” con huesos, calaveras y demás cosas desagradables de forma que los muertos pasaran de largo asustados, de ahí viene la tradición de decorar con motivos siniestros las casas en la actual víspera de todos los santos y también los disfraces.

Make a shaker!

1. Find a can and clean it.

Then remove the ring pull.

Fill the can with frozen peas or rice.

2. Seal the can with a piece of paper

and some glue or bluetack and then

paint the can any way you want.

3. Finished! Now just shake the can and enjoy!
